Barbara “Bobbie” Jane Wilmont-Kramme-Stratton, 78, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016, of brain cancer at the Avera Maryhouse Long Term Care Facility.
 
Bobbie was born on September 15, 1937 in Rosston, Okla., (Harper County) to Marshal Besden Wilmot and Mary Kathryn Ogan-Wilmot.
 
Bobbie moved to rural Lyman County, S.D., with her mother Mary and stepfather Everett Smalley in 1954. She attended school in Pierre, where she met Larry Kramme. They were married in 1956. To this union, four children were born.
 
Bobbie married Duane Stratton on February 14, 1994. They shared a home in Draper with their two little ones, Jessy and Lucy.
 
Bobbie worked for several businesses such as, Chateau Lounge, Meals on Wheels at the Community Youth Involved Center, the Coffee Cup in Vivian, and the Nut Buster in Draper.
 
Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Tonna (Reed) Finch, Pierre; sons, David (Brenda) Kramme, Draper, and Shane (Dawn) Kramme, Fort Pierre; brother, Marshal (Betty) Wilmot, Phoenix, Ariz.; brother in law, James Ray Hamlin; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
 
She is preceded in death by mother, Kate Smalley; father, Bez Wilmot; step-father, Everett Smalley; son, James B. Kramme; and sister, Sandra Hamlin.
Her living memorial will be on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the Fort Pierre Community Involved Center at 1:00 p.m. There will be a fellowship and luncheon to follow the service.
 
Honorary urnbearers are all of Bobbie’s family and friends.
