Denise M. Gossmann
Denise M. Gossmann, age 54, of Andover, MN, formerly of Lemmon, SD, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 21, 2016 at the North Memorial Hospice in Brooklyn Center, MN.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am Saturday, February 27, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lemmon. Fr. Tony Grossenburg will officiate with burial in Greenhill Cemetery. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00pm on Friday evening at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Serving as casketbearers are Timn Stadel, Mark Comstock, Matthew Stadel, Randy Bierle, Tyler Stadel, Alan Dubbelde, and John Harman.
Denise was born on April 22, 1961, in Lemmon, SD, to Bernard and Shirley Gossmann. She attended and graduated from Lemmon High School then attended Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, SD. Following her graduation she returned to Lemmon to work as a loan officer at the Lemmon Federal Credit Union.
In June of 1992, she moved to Inver Grove Heights, MN and was employed by US Bank Home Mortgage. In July of 2015, she moved to Andover, MN
Denise loved life, and lived it to its fullest, her way. She will always be remembered as a gentle, kind, woman who brought laughter and fun to those around her. Everyone who knew her will remember her amazing sense of humor and uncanny ability to make you smile when you were feeling at your worst. Despite her own difficulties, she had a genuine love and concern for others. We are grateful for the time we were blessed with her presence.
Keeping her in their fondest memories are her parents, Bernard and Shirley Gossmann, Aberdeen, SD; sisters, Mary (Tim) Stadel, Aberdeen, SD, Michelle Gossmann, Palmer, AK, Angie (Mark) Comstock, Aberdeen, SD; nephews, Matthew and Tyler; nieces, Allison, Madeline and Carly; special friend, Eric Krahnke Andover, MN; and many loving relatives and friends.
