Doreen C. Trevillyan
Doreen Claudian Trevillyan, age 82, passed away Sept. 16, 2016, in Mesa, Ariz., of a heart attack.
Doreen was born to Byron and Dorothea (Clodt) Morgan Feb. 16, 1934, in Martin, S.D. She grew up in Farmingdale S.D. and attended New Underwood High School.
She wed Jim Trevillyan and they raised three daughters on a farm outside Owanka. In addition to farm wife work, she was a Stanley Home Products leader with 21 dealers; worked as a substitute postmaster; and at the Wasta interstate visitor center.
She was a long-time member of the Baseline Extension Club, served as Pennington County cultural arts leader for three years; and was active with Farm Bureau and S.D. Wheat Growers women's groups. Her primary hobby was decorating and keeping a nice home. She loved antiques; did drawing, painting, sewing and arts and craft activities with her girls; and wrote a book of poetry and stories.
She moved to Mesa in 1999 after their divorce. She enjoyed living near her girls there, tho she had recurring health problems.
She was sadly predeceased by her parents; brother, Dean Morgan; and daughter, Kathy.
She is lovingly survived by brothers, Burl and Don; daughters, Janeen Trevillyan (David Tracy) and Hallie Gannon; granddaughter, Bridget (Robert Bentley) and great-grands, Breena, Joshua and Aiden; grandson, Justin Tracy; and many friends.
