Harold "HP" Permann
Harold Herbert Permann “HP”, 90, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at Hospice of the Valley in Mesa, Ariz.
HP is survived by his wife of 63 years, Pauline (Peggy) Permann; daughter, Jan (Kevin) Wenzel of Quinn; son, Lon (KaTeri) Permann of Sturgis; 10 grandchildren, Jackie, Jason, Melanie, Vivian, Alex, Tristan, Austin, Chante, Steven, Fauna; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty (Jerry) Oxner, Norva Giese; brother, Hess (Arba) Huber; sisters-in-law, Shirley Permann, Norma Harer, Dotty Gunsalus; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
HP was preceded in death by his father, Jacob (Ida) Permann; mother, Christina (Jake) Schanzenbach; brothers, Herbert and Rodney Permann; sister, Adaline (Brownie) Couger; brothers-in-law, Donald Harer, Gerry Gunsalus; and sister-in-law, Mary Lou Moore.
Memorial services and burial will be held at the National Cemetery, Friday, May 19, 2017.
Please join us at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel, 1235 Junction Ave., Sturgis, SD at 10:15 a.m. MT. From there, we will proceed to the National Cemetery. There will be a reception at the VFW club in Sturgis, immediately following the burial.
