James Pederson

James Pederson, age 60, of Irene, formerly of Wall, S.D., died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at the Sunset Manor in Irene.

James D. Pederson was born Jan. 22, 1956, to Gordon and Betty Lou (Ballard) Pederson in Germany.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Pederson of Rapid City; four nephews, Nick Niemann of Edwardsville, Ill., Tyler Niemann of Houston, Texas, Matthew Holub of Mason City, Iowa, and Grant Holub of Rapid City; one great-niece, Alyssa Niemann; and a host of other relatives and friends.

James was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Roy Pederson; two sisters, Carol Naescher and Nancy Holub; and one brother, Gary Pederson.

Arrangements are pending with the Rush Funeral Chapel of Wall.
