Randall Louder

Randall James Louder, 69, of Townsend, Mont., died on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at home in Townsend under hospice care. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Randall was born on September 28, 1953 to Dwight and Dorothy (Volmer) Louder in Murdo, S.D.  Randall grew up in Draper, S.D. and graduated from Draper High School in 1971. Randall worked at various places and eventually went to college at Mitchell Technical Institute and earned his associate degree. In the early 1990’s Randall moved to Townsend, Mont. and fell in love with the mountains. It was here that he met his soul mate of 25 years Sue Fairchild. Sue said he won her heart by taking her on drives in the mountains and picking wild flowers with her.
Randall could fix anything and was jack of all trades. He loved to visit and had many friends wherever he lived. He was very proud that he was the caregiver of Sue’s parents in their later years until their passing.
Randall is survived by his soul mate Sue Fairchild, sons Eric (Denice) Louder, Bradley (Denise) Louder; daughter Meghan (Larry) Anderson, nine grandchildren, three great grandsons; brothers Bradley Louder, Kevin (Laura) Louder, Darin (Lisa Cline) Louder; sisters Roxanne (Carl) Whitaker, Susan (Charles) Hamer, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight and Dorothy and son, David Louder.
Cards and memorials can be sent to Sue Fairchild, 400 S Cedar, Townsend, MT  59644
