Memorial Day Services held in Wall and Quinn

Memorial Day Services were held in Wall and Quinn on Monday, May 26. Master of Ceremonies for the Quinn service which was held at 10:00 a.m., was John Tsitrian and guest speaker was Ridge Sandal. Music was provided by: Regan Simons, Kipp Cordes, Sayde Custis, Big White Singers and pianist Dawna Tsitrian. The Quinn VFW honored the departed at the Quinn Cemetery with the playing of “Taps” by Doug Estes and a 21 gun salute by the Quinn VFW Post 9120 and Carroll McDonald Post 246. A Memorial Day Program was held in Wall at the Wall Community Center at 1:30 p.m. Dave Olson was the Master of Ceremonies and guest speaker for the event was Bill Casper. The 7th Calvary Drum and Bugle Corps., led the audience in many patriotic tunes and Regan Simons sang the National Anthem. At the Wall Cemetery Bernard Foster read the names of departed veterans and the program ended with a salute to the departed veterans.
