Norman R. Liffengren, age 87, of Faribault, died Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Allina Health Faribault.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Boldt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Faribault, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.
Norm was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and guiding light whose warmth, wisdom, and steadfast devotion left an indelible mark on everyone blessed enough to know him. He approached life with strength and incredible kindness, always placing his family at the center of his world.
He was a proud and supportive father who cherished every moment spent with his children, instilling in them the values of compassion, independence, and strong family ties. As a grandfather, his eyes would light up with unconditional love.
Whether sharing a story, lending a helping hand, or simply being there when it mattered most, Norm gave selflessly to those around him.
Norm was the owner/operator of Norm’s Alignment for over 50 years. He always made time for all his customers, a beer, or a life lesson! He was a true icon in the community.
Norm leaves behind a loving family and a rich legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories that will live on forever in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, and all who loved him. He has now joined his beloved wife in heaven.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life and honor the lasting impact he made on us all.
Norm is survived by his two children, Sara Ellis and Dennis (Brenda) Liffengren; grandchildren, Samuel Liffengren, Jordan and Jalea Ellis.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy; children, Julie and James Liffengren (baptized Mary and John); parents; siblings, Opal (James) Cartney, Luverne (Genevive) Liffengren, Louise (Cliff) Hullinger, and Ida (Arthur) Jansen.
